Mayenda better than Isidor

He may as well have swapped brown out for Wilson. Did Browne do anything at all of any use today ?
Put the pressure on which ultimately won the ball for the first goal? I would say that is pretty useful.

I am not a massive Browne fan but he did alright today, I would love to see us go 4-4-2 and let the shackles off and whether you can call it Browne or Rigg making way then so be it.

Isidor is a far better footballer and has better football brain than mayenda
Not sure I agree there, Mayenda has played some beautiful intelligent balls to create goals. He’s still a bit raw but I think his footballing intelligence is developing nicely.
They’re chalk and cheese is style really but both fantastic and less than 5m the pair.

His hold up play was very good yesterday.

Pressured the defender into a poor clearance leading to our first goal. Had a couple of shots that could’ve been a goal.

Thought he was excellent first half, did very little second half.

Mayenda can move right if Roberts is out. Though I do like them both playing centrally at home, and it's hardly much different to how we're playing anyway, with Browne/Rigg so high.

We practically play in a 442 now.

I do hope we bring in a solid right winger to give Roberts competition though. He’s been lacking someone to push him since he came in really. If we had the same competition on the right as we do now up front then I think we would be seeing a lot more from Paddy over a whole season.

Pending outgoings, this summer I would prioritise a Right winger above another striker for sure. Regardless of league we find ourselves in.

Worked a treat against Sheff Utd at home. They had a lot of the ball but couldn't live with our front two who ultimately won us the game.

I'd still love to see it against lesser sides at home. If it doesn't work I stand to be corrected but I don't see why they both can't start.
This

Mayenda has come on a ton. Sharp, fast and strong.
Both him and Isidor are quick - as is Mundle who tore up the ground in the first half. Sometimes we don't play to their strengths. A quick, long ball out of defence - route one - might sometimes be an alternative to 9 passes across the park.

People may agree or disagree and that’s fine and can see the argument to be fair.

Overall I think Mayenda is a better all round player. Gets miles more involved in the game. Better touch, better hold up play. Brave when running one on one with defenders. Fast. Just needs polishing up in front of goal and get his composure which will come with more game time.

Mayenda I know misses chances and that but he’s a player than whether he’s good or bad gets at least 2 good opportunities to score.

it looks like he will probs only play 4-3-3 but I would seriously start Mayenda and bring Isidor on.

This is not a dig at Isidor who I really like . Seems a top fella and is a really good finisher.

We’ve 2 very good strikers for this level! (Who’d have thought it!!) absolutely love watching them both play.

Difference with Isidor and Mayenda at the moment is
1 has been rested, nurtured and is playing with confidence and now scoring goals.
2 the other has played every game up until SW and is suffering niggles burn out and lacking in a bit of confidence.

Isidor is the more rounded player for me and we are lucky to have them both.

Isidor edges it as a goalscorer for me, but that's not taking anything away from Mayenda, who's progressing at warp speed this season.

Its f#cking brilliant to have such a pair of gifted forwards.
