Good stuff mate
Afternoon RVF, No Podington, and yes Finedon Dolbens although they have plenty of cash through sponsorship not sure about about buying the league. They are fairly high in the pecking order of Northamptonshire cricket. Nice ground aswell.
Enjoy your afternoon mate

Afternoon will try that later and let you know but not in your league as to many Cards games.
Afternoon Bec's sorry to hear Bob struggling today, like everyone else wish him a quick recovery best wishes

Good news Bish you may need the heating later πŸ‘
Got ya Sis
He's not in pain but he is struggling getting on his feet today and I had to lift him down the back step to go for a wee in the garden. He's slept most of the morning, but he has just woken up and is currently laying looking at me as he wants a bit of my sandwich! He's very pale though. My vet isn't open on Sundays so I'm just keeping him comfy today.

Afternoon. Thanks marra 😘

Thanks marra. It is hard. He's been practically glued to my side for 15 years, so a huge part of my life. Hope you are all ok xx

Good afternoon 😎
Afternoon R

Afterdood, old chub. Virst glaz trade do Doddygab, bleaze....
Just got a message from me NHL mate. He said he's got no side effects so far, but he's now moving into what they call the "high risk" phase, so the ice bed has been tended reserved for him, just in case. It's not a good sign if his temperature soars (I'm not sure, but I think this can happen if, in simple terms, his body isn't keen on accepting these manipulated T-cells), so all dangly bits crossed that this doesn't happen. He also said his old junior coach & some of his old junior team mates had found out about him & so they've been sending him messages of support, which I think he's found quite touching. But, of course, we macho men don't talk of such sentimental hogwash....

Aft'noon T V M and aft'noon all. πŸ–

A sharp 6am to 10 am shift is done and dusted, so I'm sitting at home with a coffee and a bacon butty, before I give the car a wash.

Another canny day out, so enjoy the sunshine (those that have good weather) and have a good day, everybody. πŸ‘

I've been trying to find the right words to say. As I think you know, I'm not a dog lover (chiefly because of my allergic reactions) but I've witnessed at first hand their healing powers, their sympathetic ways, their animal goodness. I'm not alone in having some insight into how much he means to you. I came across this earlier. I hope it helps in some small way, not just in connection with Bob, but also in a more general way, during this unprecedented time. It's a canny bit comic, that Bible. Kindly note, under verse 13, we are told we must drink, which puts paid to arl that teetotal tosh!

Ecclesiastes 3 King James Version (KJV)
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

Hay men tiv that, la....

Thanks marra. He was asking to go for a walk but the bairn just took Jack. He seemed cross when she went out but then seemed relieved after she had gone! He's a massive lads fan
