Morning everyone probably city for me
Morning Hank, morning everyone
Waiting for the nags at York then I'll catch the Man city game.

Felt a bit sorry for the Boro last night but what's going to be the Southampton punishment, all this should be sorted by the final but there's no chance of that.

Enjoy your day everyone👍

Evening Hank, Becs and all from Sunderland.

Had a fairly quiet day in SR5 , although met up with Sir Tom and Ray for a coffee. Aaron the Everton supporter has arrived in Sunderland, and we just had a bite to eat while planning our tactics for the bike ride tomorrow. Was half watching the Southampton v Boro game while getting my things ready.

Nervous and excited for the ride tomorrow, we have a photoshoot at SOL first before we set off. Will update pictures on here. Day 28 of no beer, not sure if any football. We're planning to meet the running lads, will join them for a non alcoholic drink.

Stay safe everyone.
Morning TVM best wishes to you all for bike ride👍

Let’s put it this way I’m not not the most popular person round these smoggy parts

Me neither Hank....

"I spy with my little eye something beginning with P"....... Play-offs, promotion, punishment??? 🤔 💭 🤔 💭 🤔 💭

Looks like another season in the Championship beckons or does it? We'll see 👀 😏 😉 🤪

Tearoom Expert thought Boro were pretty poor last night after the first 35 minutes anyway but felt like they got zero help from the officials. The general consensus of opinion was that the subs also highlighted how bad their January window was. They reckon they got worse with every player that came on and looked like they had gone by the 2nd half.

Many bemoaned the wasted chances in the first half of the first leg and most didn't have much confidence going down there.

Apparently Middlesbrough are still going to train just incase the EFL kick Southampton out but TE can't see anything happening with that as "the EFL loves the southern clubs".

What a kerfuffle

Evening Cy, have to agree regarding the referees decision making, they are consistently inconsistent

Just hit me like a train, 1 year ago my dads last game. What a game to be his last, i would do anything to go back to that game, that moment in time. Sitting on the bus on the way home, he was so tired, but he wouldnt have missed it for the world.

Sorry all but need to get it off my chest
Fully understandable, mate I used to go with my Dad, and was chuffed when my son went with us.
Now it is me, my son and daughter and SAFC have given us highs and lows.
