Porter or Samson for me. After a long spell away from home Double always hits the spot. Haven't tried the American Pride yet but that other IPA The Simcoe Kid is spot on.

You must have got one of the last ones on the pils. Phoned up at 12 they had none left, came away with a case of Samson.

the odd place has McEwans scotch on these days. Honestly I see no purpose for it other than it gives you the ability to drink a few extra pints than normal because it’s so weak. Hardly tastes of owt. McEwans Export is canny if you like scotch style ale.

Yeah I found that too. Also the Fairydust Antler reminded me of parma violets with just a hint of shoe polish
