Been our best player the past 3 games 🤷‍♂️
He’s cost goals directly in two of them . He’s works very hard and is aggressive and is the best central midfielder but giving goals away stops him being the best player
I think his bravery, mobility and strength give him a chance to play at the top end of the division above.

I’m not convinced any of the other young players in our squad have that potential.
He will have to pass it better and quicker . We are all heading into Neil territory again …

Doesn’t stand out as a talent to me.
Agreed ,people see one good game and straight away he's a future star .We wouldn't have got him if he had shown promise long term .other clubs would have beaten us to his signing .wait until he has played 10/20 games .

The problem is we are not playing through midfield at present.
Neil and Evans not looking for the ball, so we end up hoofing it to Stewart.
That’s under the manager’s instructions based on Neil’s post match interview, so don’t expect to see that change anytime soon.

A complete change in style of play from Johnson which just seems bizarre to me.
In fairness, I think it’s likely a tactic to counter MK Dons formation and style of play and not necessarily how we’ll always play under Neil.

Last 4 games we’ve conceded long balls directly over Doyle. Teams know it’s a weakness for us and that Doyle will be out of position. It’s similar to when we had that lad at left back last season, not Hume, when they targeted the left side every game. Doyle has to come out even if it’s for Xjami
This lad just can't run, either that or he's not trying.
He looks so heavy.

Yes he has cost us goals, can’t argue with that but even take that into account and the performance of the rest of the team he’s still been our best player

My one criticism of him is he holds on to the ball too long. Sometimes it looks good when he then rolls the opposition player and comes away with the ball. But occasionally he gets caught or leaves himself under pressure (an example of this yesterday led to his slack pass to Evans). Won a couple of cracking headers which got the crowd going though which is unusual for his size. I generally like the look of him though and he is still integrating into the team. Just need the rest of the fuckers to improve!
