For those who are country before club.

Say Newcastle got some youngsters through their academy, who were all absolutely world class and weirdly the entire England team was made up of Newcastle players, would you support that team?

I'm asking because obviously in this scenario Newcastle would dick all over us all the time, and their fans would be unbearable, especially considering the England team is just their team.

Could you put club aside during an international match and support them?

I know it's a naff thread topic but I'm curious. ;)

yes

Did you support England when Shearer was playing?

No cause at the time thought super kev should of been getting a run in the team golden boot winner and all that:lol:Although shearer was slightly more bearable than nitty nora

So who did you support at Euro 96? Shearer was playing then and Phillips wasn't on the scene.

Well im sure shearer was a blackburn player then. But dont show england much interest unless on the rare occasion a sunderland player is involved

Not really. It's not a thread about Newcastle, just about what exactly 'country before club' means.

Of course it is, sometimes there can be over 50% of threads on the first page that are about them up the road.
It should be called the ANB not the SMB.
