I’m not wishing these people harm, you realise? I hope everyone escapes.
Of course not you just want to see the buildings they are in come crashing down on top of them

Why? You’d watch it on tellyCanny weird that like
Well I’d prefer they were empty, but they’re falling down whether I’m watching or not.Of course not you just want to see the buildings they are in come crashing down on top of them
Yes, but I wouldn't love it.Why? You’d watch it on telly
Well I’d prefer they were empty, but they’re falling down whether I’m watching or not.
Yes,been in one in the Philippines, and quite a few tremors, there was one here in LA last week but I didn’t feel it as I was sleeping, nothing on the scale of the Turkish one however.Has any SMB'er even been somewhere when an earthquake struck?
Indifferent, yes.Not wishing them harm but don't know them so don't really care either way, is that right?

I was in Phuket the year before the tsunami, stopping in a beach front hotel. I could have watched it from my balcony if it had happened then, but I’m sure the following days wouldn’t have been much fun.I think I understand what you mean, possibly.
I remember watching the footage of the Tsunamis in Thailand and Japan and thinking how awesome it would be to witness it first hand, but also thinking how horrendous it would be to witness such devastating losses of life
Anything that has impending death is terrifying.Got to be one of the most terrifying things. That and war.
Fair enoughWho am I supposed to be winding up like? The fact is I don’t really care about people I don’t know, it’s been pretty well documented on here over the years. So whenever I see a natural disaster (or even a man made one) I think wow that’s amazing first and foremost. I have no concern for the people involved whatsoever. I can understand people not believing me, but similarly I can’t believe some people see things like this on the news and get upset and cry.
I just asked a lad at work the same question his exact words were “don’t know them, don’t care”.
Anything like that - tornado, explosion, fire, flood, ships sinking, I find fascinating. I love those seconds from disaster and air crash investigation programmes.
It’s sociopathic if owt. But mainly Aspergers.
I've read some nonsense posted on here over the years but I think this takes the biscuit. Dear me.I would love to be. As long as I was standing in a field with nothing to fall on me and none of my family or property was involved. Imagine standing there and seeing city blocks and stuff coming down.
Seriously? You wouldn’t like to experience a big earthquake first hand if there was no risk to you?I've read some nonsense posted on here over the years but I think this takes the biscuit. Dear me.
Has any SMB'er even been somewhere when an earthquake struck?
I haven't and hope I never am.
Is that now 3? I know the first 2 this morning were 40km apart and they would also cause aftershocks, so hoping its just an aftershock and not a 3rd earthquake (I'm hoping 2 is better than 3 for aftershocks and issues).Turkey has now been hit by another (7.5 magnitude) earthquake and the known death toll stands at 2,600+
Absolutely devastating footage on the news
Just discovered I'm not that weird.I would love to be. As long as I was standing in a field with nothing to fall on me and none of my family or property was involved. Imagine standing there and seeing city blocks and stuff coming down.
My ex is Aspergers and she found the twin towers collapsing fascinating...for that reason I'll cut you some slack, but many on here won't understand how you can isolate sentiment. It’s sociopathic if owt. But mainly Aspergers.
