Now I'm confused. First you're not sure, then what I said was true, but with riders.

I'll say it again, Forest winning the European Cup not just once but twice was a truly remarkable feat but, in the global context, it ranks below winning the World Cup. O'Neill made himself look a bit of a tit when he sat next to 2 World Cup winners and came out with that. He was a good player in his day, but not fit to lace Viera's boots.

Cannavaro should have asked the insecure barmpot how many times he won FIFA Player of the Year, while he was giving it the big I am.

Fair enough, have a go at Chiles. He seems like a tit when he's going on to the others though.

My mate mentioned a bit of needle between him and Cannavaro, so stuck 'Martin O'Neill Cannavaro' into Google...

Got a load of news articles about MON 'destroying' Cannavaro. Staggering that he still has so many blinkered friends in the media, he looked like the insecure deluded f***ing dinosaur that he is.

(How many Balon D'Ors or European Championships did he win?)

He was having a bit carry on. Thought it was quite amusing myself.

What a f***ing tit you are.

According to UEFA.com he didn't play in either leg against Liverpool.

Or against AEK Athens in the second round.

Looks like he only played in 2 of 5 rounds.

The man is a complete bullshitter.

:lol::lol::oops:

during my supporting of the lads from 66 onwards, the season after he kept us up has to be the most dull and uninspiring footy I have had the misfortune to witness - wasnt it something like 14 attempts on goal in the first 10 games - dreadful and he never gave AJ a chance to get off to a decent start in his SAFC career.
Great on tv, but a disappointment for us - wonder what would have happened if Samba's perfectly legal goal had stood in his first game which would have put us 2-0 down ??
I'm not even sure he is. For an intelligent bloke, he doesn't half mumble and stumble on. He was the same in press conferences and post match interviews for us.

I can't stand him, got no time for the bloke at all.

Did he have his favourite pig under his arm? £5m quid and counting on Danny Graham. To cut him some slack though if he'd turned up now and again he'd have been a legend here.

Some idiots on here, he left his coaches do his coaching, he wasn't being lazy, it is the same method that has resulted in him having a very very successful managerial career man FFS.

.....some people

Nah he is absolute quality, you clearly just like absolute morons who slide on their knees.

His coaches including the key component of John Robertson. Who didn't come up here. And it looks like O'Neill did nowt to compensate for that. On and from that Everton cup game, he was absolutely dreadful for us, shocking management.

Substitute Hull for Everton and I take it you have the same opinion of Gus then.

He kept us comfortably that first season, and then it didn't work out, nothing more, nothing less, all this not turning up to work is absolute shite by typical Sunderland fans looking for things that aren't there.

Our fans are ludicrous, so much hate in them.

Not according to my decent source.

Anyway, we'll agree to disagree - I say O'Neill is a finished dinosaur who was largely awful for us. You clearly think differently.

 You are missing the f***ing point man, he has never ever took training throughout his career, it is the same method that is resulted in him having a very very successful managerial career.

People like you are trying to spin it like he was being lazy, f***ing idiotic man, grow up.

We beat Chelsea, Man United and drew at Man City after the Hull game. Seriously, from Everton onwards, O'Neill subjected us to an absolute pile of crap.

How can it be the same when John Robertson was not here?

streaker tried to slander Keano with the same shite. Could not produce a shred of evidence for the claim though.

Part of being a good manager is to select the right coaches.

The football played during this period was some of the most negative and uninspiring I have witnessed. Many supporters I spoke to almost walked away from the club because of it.

What?? It is exactly the same he just had different coaches

I dunno how do get this in your skull mate, MON has never took training, it is not his method, it is nothing to with being lazy or all this shite you are trying to spout. If making up lies make you feel better then go for it.

It didn't work out, get over it man

It is the people calling him lazy, not turning up for work shite, he made mistakes and it didn't work out

Your mates clearly weren't at the 15 or 19 point series then
