To be honest I flaming hate to think what Short has saddled us with this time.

Faith in his recruitment to 'executive' positions is zero.

He's started a thread on the Contributors forum. You wouldn't believe the ITK shit he's giving out. Honestly, the calibre of players we're after for next season - I'm speechless.

Threads are getting worse on here from the same people.
What's this new found craze for slagging off any perfectly valid questions on here all about?

We had a CEO supposedly start last week. There hasn't been an announcememt or a press statement, not a single quote or sign he even turned up.

I struggle to understand what you think is so terrible about fans asking a question and inviting discussion.

Well there are people already insinuating that no signings are his fault, therefore I'm just returning their idiocy with the reality.
I think its the post-reiver era.

There's no threads slagging off our own fans anymore so people have to have a dig in any way they can.

They announced he was starting in July, do they really need to talk us through his first day or his first tasks? Sure we'll here something in due course.

Not sure what you want to hear tbh. Nothing of note will come out of the club via the normal soundbites in the media - that's just the way modern football is. The only thing we need to know is when new player turns up and when existing ones leave or sign new contracts. Anything else is just babble, babble which unless we are signing players by the bucketload a negative spin will be put on

Just assumed it was newsworthy. It's a bit odd no?

There's nowt else going on.

Anyway, am sick of arguing with people who think the club is run by brilliant people who are making a huge success out of everything they touch and how dare we question them.

There's still a lot of people at the club who have been around when the club has gone threw some of its darkest hours in recent years, you are correct to question that, as for the new CEO, It maybe just as simple as he hasn't got around to it yet, after all this is his first full week, as I said before maybe a video on the website would of been a good idea, or maybe a statement

Hardly think he's brilliant or that they're making a huge success of it. Just looking at it objectively - realistically what do you gain by hearing a few soundbites? Having already announced it and the date he starts, why would they then want to announce that he'd started? I think they probably want to wait till he does something positive or newsworthy.

Unless they've got something more than the usual soundbites then I'm not interested. Most on here just want to here them say something to have a moan with a negative spin on it "WHY'S HE WASTING TIME TALKING TO THE MEDIA WHEN HE SHOULD BE SIGNING PLAYERS" etc.

Mannone extended contract
PVA & Defoe's extensions already sorted
Kirchoff's contract extension on the cards.

Doing a decent job so far IMO. Be patient and get a grip!

From a squad bound to relegation, we'd be far from that on the basis of Jan-May. Hopefully we sort M'Villa, take it from there, our squad is better than what people think because we've actually got a manager now.
That could be problem "got a manager now".... I am holding my breathe

Underwhelming appointment and now an underwhelming arrival.

Day 2. Been playing solitaire, made a coffee, gave Ally McCoist a fake call, went to the gym, flirted with the cleaner and then took a flyer. At 9.52am.

Why do people talk about the chief executive so much

literally none of these decision are his, they are all Sam's

people have massively confused the responsibilities of him, he just sorts out the details.
