Priority entry with an album purchase.
Get yourself along to see the best band in the north east.
Martha Stewart? The wannabe Mother Theresa.
Are Warm Digits supporting like ??
whats the crack with the album purchase, do you need to buy it first and turn up with it? or can you buy it on the door? i'd love to see them and more than willing to pay the £15 or whatever for the album as an entry fee. dunno what time to turn up though
Details on Pop Recs' Facebook page.
still can't properly make it out. if you turn up at 6.30 and don't buy the record do they make you wait outside? what if you turn up at 8.30 and buy the record and its full? unless i'm looking in the wrong place.
i'll happily buy the record anyway, just dont wanna turn up at 6.30 if they aren't coming on till 9
Doors open half six I think, don't know how they are going to do it with the album like, if it fills up quick then people buy albums do they ask people to leave?
thats what i mean. i'd prefer to pop in on my way home from work, buy the album, and come back later about 8ish if they aren't coming on till later.
Might be worth giving them a bell or message on social media.
If you miss it, they are doing another launch at the Star and Shadow in Ouseburn on Wed 17th, normal ticketing arrangements. £8, supports to be announced.
Or maybe not! Seems to have sold out already!!
I did. He just said its first come first served basically. Album or nee album! Cant see how else they could do it like. Think I'll go down bout 7ish and see. I'll be on me norm like but want to see them and I'll treat myself to some vinyl anyway
The Martha Monologues. Would bring the house down. Then instead of joining the much needed after party will head home to bake the perfect cake from scratch using a most difficult home-made design. Before slicing the cake into tiny pieces to feed the world and her followers basically feeding them all enough crumbs to continue. Bless her.
Anyone going ? I'm still debating it
How was it?
Think Cow knows all about this opening
Only room for about 30 folk but was class. Just the right amount. They are class like. Proper raw and game as fuck
How is Cowie these days, haven't heard from him in yonks.
How many actually turned up? I haven't been in the 'new' shop but they used to ram in about 100 in the old one, IIRC. A bit sad if that's all that can be arsed to turn out in Sunderland when they are selling out bigger venues in newcastle
He comes and goes
Things are definitely on the up for Pity Me's finest. Suspect the days of playing Pop Recs may be over!
