Mark Robins

I think he would be an excellent appointment, and it is probably the right time for him to seek a new challenge away from Coventry.

I know this season has been disappointing for Coventry City but why has no-one even mentioned him? I think he is a very good manager/coach.

He seems very content at Coventry and I would say very loyal - a completely different character to someone like Schumacher at Plymouth who is basically shouting Me Me Me.

Robins has done a very good job at Coventry but I think he’s more than happy there. No big pressure on him to get promoted and as they sit pretty much bang in mid table they could still mount a playoff push yet.

I think he has enough credit in the bank at Coventry to allow the new players he brought in with the Gyokeres and Hamer money time to gel. Looking at the championship table at around this time last year Coventry lost 1-0 at Reading and were 15th in the table ……they finished 5th.

Seems content to remain at Coventry . You would think he would show some ambition as he is clearly a good coach.

Is he that good? or is he just a standard, run of the mill Championship manager like tons of others?

Won the L2 play-offs, Won League One, What else? Got Coventry to the final last year but they also had the best striker in the league and Hamer who was too good for this level.

Win percentages are bang average everywhere he's been and also spunked a fortune on shite this summer.
