Didn't our youth do well under Kevin Ball? I know former players who have came through speak highly of him.

I heard his management of the 23s was the ultimate finishing school to become a pro. Standards, discipline and work rate were all first class. Tactically very limited.

But the side was hugely successful and weren’t on to produce some very good players.

I’m just not a fan of him as a person. Long story.

They did. The team was successful and produced a number of players who have played at a good standard.

Add to that the fact that he loves the club and I think it would be a great move to bring him back.
