Would have been better for us in PL than Gray and Stead.Great striker for us in the Championship

Lived at Coxhoe didn’t he?My dad done some work on his house when he was playing for us nd I was told he was a really decent down to earth bloke. My dad liked him and said hi and his missus were really friendly.
Marcus is doing incredibly well, considering. Compare that to another Bristolian, David "Syd" Lawrence (ex England opening bowler); only diagnosed a few months ago, and already in a wheelchair and more or less unable to speak. I've known Syd for a long time via cricket, and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke. Neither deserve this.A very good striker, he did a grand job for us. I was lucky enough to say hello to Marcus as he came into the SoL today. I was surprised and delighted that he was still able to communicate verbally with me. Horrible condition MND. My best wishes go to the lad & his family.
