thats yer lot Man Utd & Spurs for me

Evening/morning Hank and mates, nowt for me gonna
have a footie free Thursday. It's been a horrible day
here in west cumbria, Blowing a gale and chucking
it down.Walking dogs in forestry tomorrow, hiding
from the weather under the trees.Have a great day
mates, take care of yourselves and each other, stay safe.☺️🤗🤗

Good mornight. Just watched yesterday's game again. A few minor observations: (1) Cathedral's pass that led to Mcgeady's shot (that their keeper did well to save) was exquisite, yet garnered no comment from the Sky summarisers (2) the resulting corner from Jones was beautifully flighted but equally important was Power's dummy run to pull his marker away & leave Wyke in space (O'Nien played his part too in partially blocking Raggett, who looks like he's spent his life in the so-called bear pit) (3) the skill involved in Jones's finish didn't get the praise it deserved (4) Flanagan's attempted clearance was crude but I didn't think it was a pelanty because he got the ball (if you're suggesting it was the follow through that drew the pelanty, you might as well ban tackling, then physical contact of any species, then football in its entirety) (5) Curtis should have had a yella if not a red after his clash with Sanderson: Sanderson was late & rightly took a yella but Curtis raised his hands but went unpunished (5) as I said back in January, Sanderson passes the ball well & moves with elegance: the latter is something you're born with & is a rare quality to be cherished (6) there is a certain elegance too about the way Cathedral moves that puts me in mind of Eric Roy (he's not at that level but he has the natural elegance of motion to do well at this level & perhaps higher: this is a gift that cannot be coached & I'm gratified that Johnson clearly sees it in him & also holds dear that indefinable quality).

Ugly sleep beckons. Adios, amigos & as the Ticos say: Pura Vida!

Aladdin has been banned from the magic carpet race.

Apparently he's been using performance enhancing rugs..
