Mannone

Arsenal has 3 poor keepers and Mannone is the weakest. Going from one of the best gk's in the Prem to Mannone would be some downgrade. I can't see him playing ahead of Westwood. Good thing we're after some highly rated outfield players.

Going from one of the best to Westwood is a downgrade too. Not as much of a downgrade as Mannone but a downgrade nonetheless.

we will have 4/5 new players from 5 in the back 4 and keeper positions, not the best scenario.

Some logic here mind, the players you have not seen or going to save us from the one you have?

Not bad for second choice.

Looks like (going on reports) the money from the Mignolet deal is being spent on improving other positions which will make us stronger.

Teams with worse keepers than us have 15 or so more points than us because they have a better defence and midfield.

Poor keepers their first choice keeper is better than Westwood who you think is a good keeper!

Doberman how many times have you seen Manonne play?
Same question to moosehuckle

I've seen Arsenal's other keepers play plenty of times. If Mannone was anything special he'd be in Arsenal's team. I think that's fair logic.

Wenger has consistently demonstrated a blind spot where goalkeepers are concerned.

The lad's made 15 appearances for Arsenal. Even if he's not Arsenal calibre, that is no way indicative of him being good enough for us.
