For all the anti scouse shite they sing when we play them I actually don't mind Utd only for the fact they have been masters at winding up the kopites for years now, but the way some of their fans acted last season to one 7th placed finish makes me want to see them have a few more years of 'Suffering'

The bitterness on RAWK is astounding though, going on like sterling is as good as Di Maria lmao and they call us the bitter ones

Sterling can go on to be one of the best players in the world if he keeps progressing like he has, I wouldn't blame any fan for getting carried away about a talent like him. I bet your fans went way over the top about Barkley.

I'll pull my cock off if they miss out on the top 4 again

Will never happen

Di Maria is absolutely brilliant. Why on earth did Madrid sell him?

To pay for and make way for James. It was not the coaches decision or wish - rather something imposed upon him by the incredibly vain President, FlorentinoPerez, who seems to think that Madrid are obliged to make at least one galactico signing every summer. If the coach, Ancelotti, was made of the sterner stuff like Roy Keane, he'd've given the president a black eye and walked out.

To make matters worse they've gone and sold their best defensive midfielder Xabi Alonso.

To sign Rodriguez. It's not even worth trying to understand Madrid, the place is mental and the majority of the big signings/sales are based on politics rather than football reasons.

Yes, this. James is very handsome and is more "marketable" than Di Maria

I'd put only Chelsea and City ahead of them tbh, with the team they have they should finish in top 3 comfortably

I would tend to agree with you. man U have one big advantage - no Champions League distractions - they'll be fitter and suffer less injuries. Listening to the game today, apart from Di maria, the one that caught my ear was Daley Blind - he was everywhere, the typical player that fills the void, oils the cogs and gets the machine working.

Mind you, in October they'll be sterner tested - the City derby should be a cracker- and not so one-sided.

QPR are f***ing rancid at the back, bloody typical that we barely tested them.

The Steve Bruce of the South
Watching QPR today allied to our performances so far leaves me feeling a great deal more concerned about how we will fare this season than I thought I would.

Aye, I'm not overly enthusiastic about how we'll fare this season either. Think Palace and Burnley are certainties to go down, but would be surprised if we're not in amongst the 5 or 6 who'll be mired in the dogfight above them.

Anar mate, not like Falcao to miss them

not a bad effort in fairness, a lucky leg from the goalkeeper seemed like

Chelsea are not all they are cracked up to be either defensively. There for the taking.
