Manchester United v QPR sky sports 1

I've just got back from the gym. I said on the Forest-Derby thread that having QPR away to any decent side is absolutely pointless. They will struggle to get more than 10 points away all season and will be relying on beating the likes of us, Newcastle, Hull, WBA etc at home to stay up. The build up was always going to be wanking over the new additions so pleased i chose to watch the Forest game instead.

Sky won't care, they will have the Man Utd viewing figures, people wanking over dream team points so fuck all those genuine fans wanting to watch a competitive match. They shouldn't put top teams matches at home to teams like QPR, Newcastle, Hull etc on Sky as 95% will be home wins. It won't be too bad if those type of teams were at home, i mean you could have got 14/1 on QPR just to win FFS.

I'm watching the Hannover-Hamburg match
id rather this thatn stoke against west brom for example

Each to their own mate. I would far rather see Hull vs West Ham tomorrow in a 60/40 type match than a 95/5 type game whether there are less 'stars' on display or not.
surely you want to see a decent quality of football

have they really just asked di maria if he meant his goal

That would be a bonus, but first and foremost i would rather see a competitive match. Had i have been watching it, as soon as United went 2-0 up it would have been turned straight-over.

Same as in boxing, i would rather see a 50/50 type game with 2 lesser name fighters than a top 'home' fighter against a bum who pretty much has no chance of winning.

you want the happy medium of both but I would rather see good football and a few goals than a boring 0-0 with people kicking each other

QPR vs Manchester United wouldn't have been as bad. United might still have ran away with that, but you would always think QPR would stand a chance and they would be around 9/2, 5/1 etc with the bookies rather than the 12/1 and 14/1 available here.

Aye agree with all this marra, time for the NFL for me now had enough of footy for the day although a might watch Parma v AC Milan later see how a feel

What is Man United's first choice defence? Jones and Evans? Their defence will be what lets them down, still think they'll struggle to get in the top 4.
