How has nobody realised that the bookies, drift prices to get lure people into a bet. I remember when Steve Bruce came into 1/8 on after Allardyce left. Been some serious bed wetting on names that are clearly nowhere near the frame other than to get Skybet or another leach a couple of quid.
 
No point in playing when there's not a Betfair market to trade out. There's almost always a few different short priced favourites before the right one gets announced.

Off the top of my head, so far we've had Sable and Still both trading odds on. Dodds has traded short, as has Hellberg, and now Ian Beale.

Edit: Just seen that Beale is currently 1/2 fav. So that's the third one to have gone odds-on. Dodds went as short as 2/1, Hellberg 5/4, and Heckingbottom 3/1. Schumaker somehow went evens at one point.

It's definitely a layers market or at least one for hedging.

I also remember Phil Parkinsons odds coming right in out of nowhere but being told not to worry as it means nowt. The rest is history :D
