Man Utd v Reading kick off 2000 ITV4 • ITVX

.

Playing to the dimwits up the road there trying to injure Casemiro

It would have been said as great if he had of injured him by the fools

No idea why reading hadn't subbed Carroll off before then. He was poor and always looked like he was walking the line to a red

If only today soccer six , I had the spurs score, this score but probably United will score again

I had safc 2-1 but offside stopped that

Miles off with the Ipswich and Bristol city games though

The player played the ball deliberately here though didn’t he? He swung a leg to block.

Like you say, Salah was the intended recipient, Weghorst wasn’t. Which, if anything, I would have thought would mean Wout was “more” onside than Salah
Should be that if a player in an offside position who gets the ball, regardless of how it gets there or runs to the ball or in a path to meet it without even touching the ball should be offside.

That covers what Rashford did the other week and if a defender puts a block in and goes to an offside player (like Salah) then it's also offside. Basically no advantage is given to the attacker when he's offside regardless of being the intended pass or not. It's daft that the attacker has to play the ball before he's deemed offside which is what Man City players got fucker over with in the derby game against Man Utd.

That post has just made me remember our home game against Preston the season we went down to League One. Chris Coleman must have been the only person watching the game who couldn't see a Clarke-Salter red coming a mile off.

It’s not for me to like or not, it’s going nowhere and yes your username sums up the attitude of harping back to days gone by

That’s not name calling, you used it yourself, not me , so think about that

Just accept it as there is nothing fans can do.

We are irrelevant

When it becomes a farce and we are nearly there people will switch off. The name is from a book but no one seems to have read it
