Malta

I was there 2 hours ago and it was absolutely packed with people . Pubs were packed , sea unfortunately had a few jellyfish.
What do you normally do as a matter of interest on holiday ?
Btw the way some of the sights on show were quite remarkable

I went for two weeks and I think that was too long.

Other than Valletta there wasn’t a great deal of choice for a day trip. And as capital cities go that is tiny as well.

Taking the gondola style boat to the 3 cities opposite Valletta for 2 EU each is spot on .
There good beaches all up north if you like that.
Gozo is a canny day out or night away.
As you are aware there are museums everywhere .
When I used to holiday here I did two nights in Valletta, few nights in Sliema, few nights in Gozo and a few nights up north to relax .
In Sliema British tourists are getting less .
It's all youngens now from , Italy, Sweden, Germany, Holland, eastern europe amongst others .
Totally different from our young brigade .
They love touring the islands and only drink on a night time in general.
I find it strange seeing 18_25 year olds wanting an open bus tour around the island.
Would never see British doing that

Yeah very small place I thought it might have been that one just mentioned as it sounded familiar.
Always have a beer in there when in Valletta, usually after lunch outside of Cafe Córdina in the square. City of culture last year.
