I just can't understand the love in for the guy, he loses the ball or holds onto it to long, contributes nothing to goalscoring and is a poor crosser the vast majority of the time.
Yet our fans last night were chanting his name and singing for him before he came on and ignoring the lads on the pitch and what did he do when he got onto the pitch? Very little as usual.
Just dont get why he gets on the pitch before elmo in a game when we couldnt win a header either.

He's entertaining the fans pay to be entertained, too many fans care about finishing high in the league.

I'd rather finish 13th and be entertained than play football like Big Sam and finish say 8th

Almost set up two goals to be fair. I rate him on his day, but Zenden is essentially a Steed with an end product. He's a great sub, and has been a great player, but I'd happily be shot of him if it gave us the money for a replacement.

What I will say however is that with him starting over Henderson in midfield, next to Catts, with Zenden on left and Elmo on right, or mix thereof, would be a very interesting midfield, probably our best. But it would be at the expense of Hendo's development and a season long solution at best.

Whereas Henderson had the game of his life and scored 37 goals last night?

Steed done more than Jordan in his 10 minutes or so, so what's your point exactly?

Cos he is one of the most skillfull players I have ever seen for us, he does things on the pitch that just make me shudder with pleasure at times.

Oh, he nearly won us the game anarl.

I'm not in love with Steed, but he created a great chance for Welbeck.

Can you not read pal? my point is he get undeserved and unconditional support dispite the fact the he very rarely turns up, oh and he got more support from the bench than the rest of our team did on the pitch it was embarrasing.

guess you didn't hear the Riveros chants when he was warming up then?

I thought he did well when he came on last night. He should have extra shooting practice every day tho!

Not to the extent of the stadium wide Malbranque one no,look i like malbranque but he is WILDLY overrated by our support who regardess of who is warming up should support the players on the pitch first.
