Thinking of going next January/Feb for 3 weeks. Last few times in jam been to Thailand but whilst I love the far eastern climate that time of year fancy seeing a country I haven't been to before

Any places to recommend to go/stay or not go to? It's with the Mrs we normally do some sort of city/beach combo, mainly beach

You can indeed. Train is about four hours iirc between the former two. Ferry from Penang will get you to Langkawi in a couple of hours.

KUL. Forest in an airport, airport in a forest!!!

Was there last week and working in US Dollars.

Left a fiddy on the counter and asked the lad behind the bar to tell me when it was gone!!!

Bad mistake.

After 8 bottles went to the shitters and when I came back the fiddy was gone and the lad with it.

Should have worked in ringats.

Anyway can't help you any further mate, never left the airport.
