Making a scotch egg.


It's quite tricky to get the raw egg to stay still with the yolk in the middle while you get the sausage meat around it.....
 
Boil egg 5-6 mins. Stick it in a cold pain. Shake it in the pan to loosen the shell. The yolk should still be runny.

Wrap it in sausage meat.

Flour, Egg, breacrumbs. Deep fry.

Job's a good 'un.


It's a piece of piss but a fanny on at the same time. I'm not sure it's worth the clart on.
 
Now see, unlike the debacle that is poached eggs I can make scotch eggs easy and In a variety of different ways. Use quail eggs for mini, wrap with haggis sometimes linda McCartney meat balls for veggie, bread crumbs, sometimes panko for others, never tried a weetabix coating tho, interesting, I know I put a like on your comment safctob but that doesn't mean I like the coating just hmm interesting and might try
