Making a PC

I fancy having a crack at building a PC. Thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Ill be using it for a wide spectrum of stuff including photoshop / CAD, office based and gaming. Id like it to have a little breathing room to not require updating within the next 2 years.

My Budget is £1200. I would prefer this to cover Moniter, Keyboard & Mouse and Speakers although I accept this may be cutting too fine.

I have without doing a great deal of research picked this build out

Anyone have any thoughts? Have a better build? Potential Conflicts? More than needed?

Try and source the 980 TI graphics card. These things are immense and will run as fast as the the Titan X

People genuinely swap their 12gb Titan X's for the modded 980ti. It's a beast

You can also remove the wired network connector from your list and save £7. Your selected mobo already has 1
And the sound card, unless you're really bothered about the sound being a fraction better.
Skip the wifi card too and invest in a pair of good quality homeplugs?

All new gpus are low power now. So psu wattage is going down. Ditto with processors. It's about energy and heat efficacy these days.

I would aim for a 1060 / 480 minimum for the gpu

More powerful and cheaper in terms of electricity than the 970 / 980 range.

Check out dell outlet as well. Some canny deals.

Went for this. £1568 all in, was pretty much cheaper than I could get all individual items for.
