Making a Murderer (Netflix)

Watched this and wish I hadn't, just made me angry.

I've finished watching this and read a lot on the web from both sides. I'll write something more comprehensive later but here are some bullet points.

  • Len Kachinskey is a cúnt of the highest order
  • I think the State and Manitowoc police convinced the brother, family, ex-boyfriend, etc that it was Avery so told them what to say/do
  • Teresa was deinitely not killed or cut on Avery's bed (why didn't they DNA it?)
  • The key was DEFINITELY planted (and found on the 7th search or something)
  • The blood was most likely planted - I can't think of any other reason for the vial to have been tampered with.
  • Are the remaining 3 swabs available for testing for the presence of blood-preservative?
  • COlborn WAS at the Rav4 when he called in the licence plate.
  • That dumb bitch wasn't guided to the Rav4 by God.
  • WHy haven't the brother and ex-boyfriend been charged with accessing voicemail and call logs
AT the minute: I think it was Tadych and Bobby. Then the police did what they could to frame Steven

Oh, and why was the Wealdstone Raider appointed as Dassey's defence lawyer?

My first thought was he looked like him  He was a wrong 'un him like.

That Ken Kratz reminded me of Brian Potter as well, what a smug weirdo he was.

Have to say I agree with this theory 100%

http://www.theladbible.com/articles...ble-theory-about-making-a-murderer-yet-200116

Yes its from the lad bible website but they just got it off someone elses page.

Anyone else agree?
No. I'm of the opinion it was this 'german' that someone was talking about on Reddit. It fit the narrative much better, and I'm of the opinion the murder was committed by someone that the Manitowoc sheriffs hadn't even considered. I think in a community like that it would be difficult for the murder to have been committed by a local who then went on to continue living and operating in that community. Remember the perpetrator of the original crime that Avery spent 18 years in prison for was a drifter who left the area after he committed the crime.

But, to be honest, I wish people would stop coming up with their own theories, based on nothing but their viewing of the documentary. I've read a lot of things about the case in the last month and there are a few more details that aren't mentioned in the documentary to take into account.

Fit the narrative better ? In what way could it fit better than the theory I posted?

Not saying it's wrong just curious how it fits "better"

You need to have read what the German's ex-wife was saying, especially how her dogs kept bringing in bones they had found that 'didn't look like animal bones', and how she found underwear and a pair of jeans that he'd hidden, with blood on them. The problem with theories by people who have only watched the documentary is that they only ever include people that are featured in the documentary, and negate to consider that it might have been someone completely unrelated to the key 'players'. Also, people are very quick to judge based on people who look shifty, but maybe those people were just anxious that they were on camera.

Bizarre that Kraz stated there was only one killer to convict Steven but a few weeks later stated there were two killers to convict Brendan - Kraz was lying on one occasion.
And in his summing up at Steven's trial!said she was killed in the garage, then in Brendan's he cut her throat on the bed

* I'm only a few pages into this thread having avoided it up to now

Yeah I was agreeing. The series can be taken as a critique of the judicial process above all. I'm getting bored with people vehemently espousing Avery's innocence when, in reality, there's only one person who truly knows. I don't think he did it, but I'm not his cheerleader and wouldn't be shocked if it turned out that he did.

I agree with you, thats what its about, but based on that programme not sure how anyone can say he did it. They must know something I don't.

Or similar to his 1st misconviction its a setup???!!! The personnel at heart of finding the key and the car looked like underhand clowns when avery was pursuing the lawsuit after his misconviction. How he was declared guilty (all jurors eventually agreed!!) is nothing short of impossible. He could be guilty but based on the main evidence and people involved anyone (jurors) must have had doubts.
