Make An Indian Curry From Scratch - Al's Kitchen



I've just got into making curries using base sauce. Been doing lamb curries. Would say Pathia and Rogan josh are my two favourites. The achari decent too. Been using the curry guys book.

I did tone down on the oil used in the base sauce. Personally dont think you need as much as they suggest.
 
For anyone over the darkside, there is an Indian supermarket/store on West Road, that is the Dogs Bollox! .. Has everything you could need, and more besides. For those living in God Country, there is a store/shop in Millfield, on Hylton Road, near Aldi that will supply you with all you need

Tbsp Madrass curry powder
Tbsp Tumeric
Tsp Cumin powder
1/2 Tsp chili powder
Tbsp Light soy sauce
Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 Tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 chilli chopped finely
1 thinly sliced onlion
1 sliced red pepper
1 egg
6 to 8 frozen prawns
bean sprouts
