Mags worried we will beat Stoke

This is what I would like.
We will beat Stoke 2-1. The mags will draw with Palace.
We will draw 2-2 with Chelsea. The mags will cock up their gimme at Villa and draw 2-2.
And we will be pretty much safe with two games to go.
Norwich might get a point somewhere along the line.
May will be warm and sunny.
:)

Starting to believe you then you said May was going to be warm and sunny :( We live in the North man !

Interesting reading at 11v11.com. (Head-to-Head comparison for two clubs).

Our overall record v Stoke City. W:65 D:37 L:45
Most recent: (Nov. 2015) At SOL, W 2-0.
Previous campaign: WD
Last time Stoke beat us two in a row: 1993-1994
Last time we beat them two in a row: 2011-2012

Everything says we should beat Stoke, which is why I'm worried.

If a team is out of form, play Sunderland. If someone has not scored in 10 years, play Sunderland. Fan confidence and performances up, we are due a stinker. Do we ever win 2 in a row away? But, this is the time of year we play completely different, so by 5pm on Saturday we should be on 34 points and a lot more comfortable.

We've got 4 games to play... 2 wins and 2 draws gets eight points.

P.S. Newcastle will not win their last three games. I think they'll end up with 4 points from them (which is still better than their average points per game for the season).
so the average rule only applies to us?

With Norwich still to play Arsenal at 5.30pm, if the mags do beat Palace then a point at Stoke is not a good result IMO.
It is really if you take the mini league run in into account. We are a point ahead and way better goal difference at the moment and a game in hand.
We need to force the Mags and Norwich to have to at least win their last game to give them a chance, if drawing at Stoke achieves that then its a good result.

I'm not sure how one point at Stoke forces the mags to win their last game? Wins will do that.

Worse case scenario (after a draw at Stoke and them beating Palace as described above) would be them beating Villa and us losing to Chelsea. Horrific but not out if the question.
Then we'd be 4 points adrift going into the Everton game! Never mind the mags needing to win their games we'd need to.

Gotta to go for the win at Stoke! Chelsea will be much tougher to win.

Its all ifs and buts mate we could win they could lose? All im saying is a draw could be a huge point we we need 5 points to force them to beat Spurs, where they come from im not bothered.

Wouldnt it be sublime if it was failing to beat Villa that sent them down
In a twist of fate........ This is the same two fixtures which seen them relegated last time!!
Sunderland v Chelsea
Aston Villa v Newcastle

Would be beautiful if the history repeated itself
