But compared to what Isak brought to their team its night and day. He’ll be anonymous in many games

£70m as well. So anything less than 1 in 3 goals per game is a big fail and lanky lads like that often end up unpopular with fans if they’re not delivering the goods.

Aye but compared to when they were 2 divisions above us a few years ago which was an easy argument for them to win

We were also going down with less points than Derby did iirc. Hammered every week apparently.

Literally as soon as the final whistle went at Wembley had msgs from the few I know coming through on my phone, telling how they were going to take the piss and we'd be straight back down.

Long way to go and I'd still snap your hand off for 17th in May, right now, but our start has absolutely clamped them and imho they're starting to really worry about us being a real threat rather than a pushover not just in terms of regional cock of the walk, but actually within the PL itself.

The fact that we're also getting positive media coverage and they look like a poorly ran Sunday league team is all adding to their anxiety.

To be fair marra -the amount they have spent since their takeover we should be no where near them.
However football dosnt always work like that .

Not even sure how this works anymore. Do they still get the six points due to confident declaration or does our score line actually count?

I think it’s unfair of the Premier League to change the rules mid season, based on a silly game of football when they’d already banked these points.
 
When they get the six points that they’re owed they’ll be above us. I’m not sad though, cos although we’ll miss out on the Europa league, we’ll still get in the Conference League.

When do them six points get added?
