Mags £150 million in debt

I think I worded my post wrong. He will be able to get some money out of the club over the next few years. he will make sure it breaks even at least and will be expecting a few million a year from it. The way they didn't spend when they came up is an indication of how he is going forward.

Like his shops, he'll keep the costs low

Carroll was a godsend for them. There's something seriously wrong with our youth set up, Boro churn out decent young uns year after year and make a canny profit, the mags can produce summat like Carroll and make a f***ing fortune while players from our youth team never seem to be capable of taking that next step.

Trying to do the PL on the cheap usually runs into trouble pretty fast

Maybe only Al-Fayed has really mastered it? Whelan maybe, but his boys look to be on the way out
Doesn't Fulham owe the phoney pharaoh around 160 million and run up a £16.9m loss for the last financial year?

Corrected.

Just as it has been corrected at the academy and is now bearing results.

that land fulhams ground is on has got to be worth a fortune given its location.

Carrolls a bad example mate as how many academies have had the 7th most expensive player in the world leave them all of 5 minutes into his top flight career...........

We sold the likes of Waghorn for a decent amount of cash and trousered good money and service from the likes of Leadbitter as well............

Boro churned out a lot in one go which again is the exception not the norm.......

A certain Henderson seems capable of the next step as well............

Aye for what though.............?

How many clubs has an owner killed and taken the price of the land as recompense and how much do you think Fulham could build a new ground in London for..........

Its a paper figure in the accounts that is meaningless really.........

was'nt Gaydamak only interested in portsmouth for the land around it.iirc he kept the land and sold the club even refusing to let them park on his land after they went bust..

Accounts make fairly good reading IMO. Next years accounts after a PL season will almost definitely show us making a profit, probably even before the AC money, compare this to your £28m loss, and a £24m one the previous year, and that's very decent.
Also while Ashley makes it very clear how much he has loaned, you're forgetting that when Mr Short transforms loans into shares he isn't just pumping that money into the club without expecting a return. He's turning them into shares which means when he comes to sell he'll expect that amount of money he's turned into shares added to the valuation of the club. Essentially he's done exactly what Ashley's done worded it a bit better so that you lot don't class it as debt.

Some of the Carroll transfer money has already been spent/committed on Tiote so Alan Partridge won't see it all.
The club has cost Ashley 285.8 mill pounds of which, 152.8 mill is owed to him in loans.
He pumped in 42 mill in Fizzypop season.
He is selling naming rights to stadium and they only have 29k season ticket holders.
But it'll all be right cos they won't be making a loss soon;)

at that rate, if he's still the owner of nufc in 3 years he'll have less money than me.

Good evening SuperMac. getting a quick post in before doing the leg-ends I see.

Well I asked Jake51 a question whilst he was online, he has now logged out, spouting bullshit I suspect then.

Football Finance expert on BBC Newcastle reckons SAFC are fucked

Reckons another Portsmouth is on the cards :eek::evil:

All reliant on Short and Quinn's plea to get fans in the ground 'is the least of our worries'

More

Newcastle United are in much better financial shape....what SAFC are doing is very very dangerous and as soon as Short loses interested [if he does of course] we'll go staight into administration]

Newcastle brand is much more developed that SAFC

Foj yourself. What that geezer was just saying was extremely worrying seeing as though he is apparently an expert in the field. He was suggesting what we've done is no less dangerous than what Leeds and Portsmouth did.

SAFC 'will go into administration'

if Ellis Short walks away from the club whilst we are saddled with wages we can not conceivable pay based on our turnover.

- So says a football finance expert on the BBC.

Worried?
