Voice of experience?
Nah, voice of someone who goes for strength and quantity over quality.Voice of experience?
Exactly Revoultion sell it at £3.90 and the Chesters £3.75 but Wetherspoons knock it out at £1.99!
Aldi still selling a case of six pint bottles of Magners for £5.25.
Yes. Magners is rebranded Bulmers and more than twice the price,
Not in same class as frosty jacks or three hammers
Yep, that was my usual "drinking on the streets" plan. £5 saved up, and enough beer to kill me (I was 14/15 at the time)When I started drinking over 20 year back it was 8 cans for a fiver. Not magners like, Fosters and that.
I quite like Bulmers original but find Magners to be a bit acidic.NO.
This is complicated.
What we call Magners is actually Irish Bulmers.
The name Bulmers was sold to a UK company ages ago, and when the cider over ice thing kicked in 10 years ago, the company who owned the rights to Bulmers AND the company who made real Bulmers both pushed products in the UK - but real Bulmers was given the name Magners
Confused yet?
Ironically, I've always preferred UK Bulmers to Irish Bulmers/Magners
