Apologies.

Their goal came directly from the flank, not the centre of midfield. It's not always the fault of the person who might have been marking the goalscorer, you know. Not to mention it was an attacker who scored, not a central midfielder.

Quite how you're attributing the blame for their goal to Power and Leadbitter I'm really not sure.
It was this time, he had time and space when he should have been marked. Either of our cms should have come back with him (although central defenders might have come to him when the saw where the ball was going). It was all a bit lackadaisical really

He was their attacker who peeled off and received the ball from the wing.

You might apportion some blame to the central midfielders, but you'd need to do the same to the full back and centre backs.

It was just a sloppy goal all round, much like them giving McGeady the freedom of half the penalty area for our first. Hell of a spot by O'Nien to pick him out mind.

Probably a McXavi fan.

Am a Gooch fan but would he have got his head up to see that pass? I doubt it.
There's an argument for moving Onien to to Gooch's position and McGlaughlin to RB putting Hume in at LB . Can't see it happening but it could work . McGlauchlin played out of position is not a sound enough replacement for the inexperienced Hume imo.
Surely Hume is worth a shot at home v the likes of wimbledon.
