In the current set up it's Pritchard v Embleton, not both, imo and I think Embleton has done more than enough in the central role to justify being first choice for now. Sticking him on the right upset our interplay and movement going forward, especially noticeable on both flanks where we weren't as effective as usual going forward or in defence.

Otherwise a decent, hard working performance that had a lot of the lads nearly out on their feet in the last quarter. Winchester for the goal and Stewart for all round quality and work rate get a point more than the rest for me.

Players don't start at 10. They don't 'lose' 30%. Hoffman had a good steady game which was reflected with his 7 score.

To get a higher score he would have had to have done something more, such as make a few more important saves.

So if we win 10-0 and he doesn't touch the ball at all? Would he get 0, 5 (or I guess not 10)?
I'm guessing it's only someone's or an average amount of peoples view.

Wasn’t a fan of moving Embleton wide at all and it crippled his game a lot. Would have fancied Pritchard wide more than Embleton tbh, or broadhead who I think deserved the first chance as I’m assuming Gooch was injured?

Other than that, I think the scores were pretty fair. Thought OP was harsh on Wright and on flanagan, who was my motm.

no wonder you forgot about Embleton,he looked lethargic and well out of touch.
Onien is starting to get on my nerves too with his petulant play.He needs to pull his head in a bit and drop the hardman act before he really starts costing us. Good player going wrong at the moment

For me, 6 is an 'average' performance. A player would work up or down from there. If they didn't have lots to do but also didn't do too much wrong (as is often the case for a goalkeeper), then their score is likely to be somewhere around that mark.
Take Stewart for instance: he wasn't as involved as usual due to a lack of service and a failure to get enough bodies around him at times. Not his fault, but in the end he was having to move back and out wide to try to influence the game.

Some of O'Nien's stuff is a bit embarrasing, but some of it is for a reason i.e. to get somebody booked, or to waste time like when he went down holding his face in stoppage time.

Aye he went down holding his face when from the replay didn’t even look like any contact with his face. Shite that carry on

Does it waste time though? The ref just added more on at the end.

It slows momentum, I suppose.

Should be sent off for that. It's cheating.

I'd prefer he didn't do it, just let the opposition keep up the momentum and score in the final minutes to draw the game....like in previous seasons.

Think it’s this sort of nitpicking why the lad wrapped up doing scores for a while.
Let it be man. Just opinions.

And all the times that hasn't happened you'll just conveniently ignore, presumably...?

Indeed. It makes you realise just how petty some people can be.
