and moments later the partnership is broken 170-6, just going to have to hang in and try and get past the follow on.

Aye, Hastings is a big culprit - and watching him during the Lancs and Sussex games you could see they were no balls form the stands. His over step was massive and needs to be coached out of him.

Phew on the first batting point - just massive fingers crossed we can keep going .... can't afford a double innings collapse ..

Miscounted actually 79 run from NBs' and considering we didn't get a whole second innings at middlex thats pretty shocking.

Stokes has been as bad a hastings if not worse tbf to the duke. Although hastings has been bowling them in the t20 as well.
 
Hastings is doing a good job for Durham. Taken some important wickets lately. He bowled 4 no balls vs Sussex

Aye I mean he only took 10 wickets vs Sussex, I think we can over look the 5 no balls during the game. Dear me man

Lancashire game they bowled a fair few no balls but at the end of the day we won and picking out things like that weeks ago is very petty.

Hastings took 3 wickets and went for less than a run a ball in our last T20 game down at Yorkshire

We are positive and have been positive where it's been due. All lads are doing here is discussing how the no balls we seem to be bowling lately is an issue. The same way a coach would look at it in order to improve.

Until we win every game by an innings there's room for improvement. Nobody is getting on anyone's back in this game - even if it may be warranted.

Probably because as a professional bowler regularly making basic run up errors isn't a problem when you're personally taking wickets and the team is winning. When you're up against it and you're not taking wickets and you're still making basic errors and staring defeat in the face then it's a problem that should have been addressed rather than allowed to continue. That's why it's worth raising what was going wrong last month and is still causing problems now. It may be petty to you, but not to me. In the Sussex game especially Hastings was over stepping by close on a yard man - that is not petty ...

We've lost 5 games in something like 31 championship games, you would never believe it reading here.

We thrashed Sussex and we have people on here pulling the lads to bits.
