Helps when Mowbray played our 2 best attackers in our defensive third.
Never heard of it?

Can't stand this sort of attitude likeBe a travesty if they get into the Premier League. Keeps making a mockery of our top tier to have Mickey Mouse clubs with their tiny grounds and fan bases, Bournemouth, Luton etc.
No way you are a Sunderland fan. Most of your posts seem to be praising Luton and you only registered to the board last week. Stick to discussing your bully boy hoof ball with your fellow mutants on your weird 1990s forum.Like watching Luton, every player gives there all, 80 points, three off the line tonight, couple for great Patterson saves, really good defensively and gave us the right run around. Good to see it is not all about premier parachutes and billionaire owners. Pleased.to see a fan owned club doing well..just a pity they beat us.
You do realise it could easily have been 6-0 tonight ? They missed two open goals and had two cleared off the line.
Totally the opposite me like. If its not us doing it then much rather the establishment keep cracking on.Can't stand this sort of attitude like
I'm glad the premier league has smaller clubs like Brighton and Brentford challenging for Europe. Long may it continue
Shame your fans couldn’t be the same, resorting to assaulting a player to intimidate him. As for your style of football, you can keep it thank you very much. I hope you lose at Wembley otherwise other clubs may try and copy the Luton and Millwall method and football will die a slow death.Luton fan here. Genuine commiserations, easily one of the best footballing sides we've played. We've got into the position we have through sheer hard work and endeavour, and more talent than we were able to show tonight. Few comments about deluded luton fans on here, be in no doubt that IF we got promoted then survival would be unimaginable. But that's missing the point. 100M would buy the ground we desperately need to progress as a club, and as fans we believe our players deserve the reward of testing themselves further. Some of those players with us since the conference and league 2 days. And we remember those days very well. Our reset was a long way lower than yours, and ultimately the club is far stronger as a result. I wish you well next season, irrespective of whatever division we find ourselves in, your fans were magnificent at the end. As all message boards, views on opponents vary. Irrespective of the result, I would always give an opponent credit where appropriate, and many of the comments on here have done that, thank you. Having watched STID 3 times, there's a salutary lesson in remembering how far you've come, and appreciating steady progress no matter how small.
They did finish third on merit over the course of a full season. Not saying they are a good side but they deserve some credit. Smaller pitch , huge aggressive players and a system that is difficult to play against. Especially for us as our flair players had a collective off night. Stating the obvious but if they got the ball in the box enough times they were going to cause us massive problems. They deserved their win last night but they are still horrible *****.They aren’t a good side like they fairly shite tbf
Record low points total next season if they manage to fluke a Wembley win
They played to their strengths. Brutal. We could not face it. Definitely like Wimbledon from 1980s.They did finish third on merit over the course of a full season.
