Loyalty is a two way street

Fair enough. That "we" is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Maybe narrow it down to the section of our fans who wanted TM out yet still get vexxed about AN
Definitely. It's also easy to be loyal when things are going well. When things are going badly it's usually blamed on the manager, both by the fans and the ownership, and there is rarely any loyalty shown by anyone.

We remained loyal to him in the summer - if the rumours are true we were thinking of replacing him then.
I know we were still within touching distance of the play offs but to me we were on a downward trajectory that would only have got worse. Imo they’ve done the right thing.
The downward trajectory is the worrying thing. Not long ago we were three points off third. Now we are eleven points off third and three points off sixth amongst a gaggle of clubs who are in better form than us.

Yeah we had a run of more winnable games presenting us with an opportunity to get points before the tough run coming up, and we didn’t take it

I will always be grateful to Mowbray but he was riding on a bit of a wave last year and when push came to shove I don't think he had it in him to turn it around.

You can talk about loyalty but his comments in recent weeks have suggested his heart wasn't in it
you are right....he has gone from "i love working with theses young players" to being as miserable as sin and saying they arent ready / good enough

Combined with that TM seems to lost the formula that got us there. Doesnt seem confident in his own team selections

We can't whinge about Neil anymore. We've just sacked a man who took over a just promoted club and took them to the play offs. A manager who had to deal with selling his best player, player of the season/captain and longest serving player whilst been provided with vastly inferior replacements and the first bump in the road he's out.
Time will tell whether it's a good decision but we've shown as much faith in Mowbray as Neil showed in us
Took is ages to work out who the frig you were talking about there to be honest.

I mean, I'd have kept him, but to say he was our best player is a massive stretch. And let's not rewrite history here, Mowbray himself went on record to say his preferred partnership was Ballard and O'Nien. He had Danny Batth sitting on the bench.

EDIT: Ah, re-read it. The best player was Ross Stewart. Who's been crocked for months and is crocked again.
