£4.72 a pint then
still decent value for what you get. most good quality bottled sour beer at 7% would be £4 for 330ml bottle which would be over £6 per pint. and thats from a bottle. draught is better

£4.72 a pint then
£8.30 PER PINT!!!!!!!!!!
Yes. And? It’s 7%, imported and lurvvely.
But then I once paid 14 quid for a 300ml bottle in that shop
agree. 4.72 for a pint of 7% imported isnt too shabby. the nice 330ml bottles are knocking on 4 quid in a shop so £/ml its fair.
question: does the beer deteriorate somewhat using this method? extra step of handling and exposure to air.
Most of the sour, north west European styles actually do very well in bottles because there’s no massive hop flavour to deteriorate and they’ll improve with bottle conditioning.
The wild/spontaneously fermented ones or bretted beers can take years in a bottle. Some will go to shite but some will improve immeasurably.
As long as it's consumed quite quickly, shouldn't make any difference.sorry, i meant using a growler vs bottle

If it's properly sealed and not too much headspace, there's nowhere for the CO2 to go. Would still lose some of it like.thats what i thought it might be wilfred. should be fine as long as its consumed pretty quick. for the highly carbonated stuff i presume the difference could be more pronounced?
He's got a class IPA and Tiny Rebel Cwtch on draught at the minute. Both lovely.
Agreed. It's a belter. I'm a big big fan of Verdant as well, I haven't had a bad beer by them.Tiny Rebel are ace. Clwb Tropicana is probably the best ‘tropical’ IPA by any UK Brewer.
Their bar in Newport is class which is lucky coz the rest of Newport is a dive. Stay Puft is my favourite sweet stout, cracking beer.Tiny Rebel are ace. Clwb Tropicana is probably the best ‘tropical’ IPA by any UK Brewer.
Beaver town is usually cheap everywhere, fuck knows how people make much of profit on it at £2.50.Stopped going as much now. Growlers have jumped up from £6.70 to £8. Cans of Beavertown are the most expensive I've seen.

I dont think he's grasped the fact that the price tends to follow the strength.£8 is still very reasonable.
