We’ve noticed an increase in military flights overhead. This afternoon a 4 engined grey turbo prop flew over. Nothing showed up on Flightradar24.

The other day a fuelling A330 was heading back to Brize Norton which looked like it had done a few loops out in the North Sea off Aberdeen. Guessing the Russkis have been testing out our airspace again?

I noticed that too, around 13:00ish? If you type in ZZ3 into the search function of Flightradar24 it brings up a list of A330’s and their recent flights. Some are quite interesting

The grey turboprop was likely an RAF A400M, its been around the northeast a few times over the last weeks or so. if you follow RAF Brize Norton on facebook, they often tell you where their aircraft are training, and occasionally what the training is, especially if its low level stuff that might interest enthusiasts.

Just had RRR9221 fly over. Flight path shows a few loops over the North Sea out from Lincolnshire and some earlier loops over Yeovil & Taunton. Headed back to Brize Norton now.
