Might be bollocks (probably is) but I heard that it was only meant to be about 3 seasons long, meaning they could wrap it up and explain it. When they saw how popular it was they decided to make more seasons, and thus had to add a load of shite that was never intended to be there in the first place, leading to loads of crap they couldn't really explain which just got left. Would explain why a good idea became so mental
I heard that episode to episode they were checking the internet to see what people in forums' opinions were on what was going on, then used the best ideas they read online for the show.
Aye I read that a while back and it makes sense.Might be bollocks (probably is) but I heard that it was only meant to be about 3 seasons long, meaning they could wrap it up and explain it. Lost is pretty good once it gets passed season 1 and you understand some of the mysteries. It's one of the best TV shows ever made.
It was just brought to the island by DHARMA wasn’t it?Did they ever explain the polar bear? I stopped watching it when it got mental
Weh when I said in a one-er, I meant just watching them at your own pace, rather than waiting one week to the next like we had to over a period of years. I wasn’t advocating him booking time off work to get it done in one sitting! You do realise there is about 20 episodes per series ?
Yes, most stuff got explained. I honestly think people just have a very short attention span so they think loads of stuff didn't.Did they ever explain the polar bear? I stopped watching it when it got mental
Sopranos to Lost is like The Godfather to Who Framed Roger Rabit.
Agreed. No good if you like things to be resolved.Season 1-3 is mint. Even the writers get confused from season 4 onwards.
Leaves about 661,861,086 questions unanswered when it finally ends so be warned.
Not as good but the nearest you'll get:It’s going to be hard to compete with the Sopranos, like.
Suitcase Nukes! You can’t go far wrong with 24 for a box set if you’ve got plenty of time.
