Lost grounds you visited

Actually the famous "alley" is still there as in -
We dillied and dallied
Fucked them in the alley
We happened to get ambushed in what was known as "Boot boys Alley"
Luckily there was so much crap in the alley, that we started hoying it, at the group of Boro, who thought they were gonna give us a hiding.
We hoyed owt that was laying around, bottles, bricks, wooden chair legs, metal bin lids.
We held our own, and as we were hoying stuff, they retreated and as we got closer to them, they lost their nerve, and scattered.
A small victory to us, from what looked at first, like a losing position.

If you're gonna say old Wembley then that. Also old Dean Court which has been turned 90 degrees and completely redeveloped.

Does the Withdean count? Still there but will never be a footy ground again.

Scariest old ground I ever went to was Swansea's Vetch Field. Thought I was going to get lynched on the way back to the station.

Had some battles with both Cardiff and Swansea in the late 70’s early 80’s.

It counts as does the Goldstone.
Withdean one of the worse I have been to. Lost a play off semi there as well conceding the last kick of the game and losing on pens.
The most sickening I have felt at a game. Took a week to recover.

I always seem to be having spells of not going to away games when we're doing well, so I never saw some like Highbury.

So grounds that are lost:

Roker Park
Wembley (bit of a contradiction there like)
Leeds Road
Ayresome Park
Boothferry Park
Milmoor (sort of lost)
Dean Bank (Ferryhill - still counts surely?)

Possibly more but I can't remember.
