I would claim the old Valley at Charlton as one because it was so very different to the modern stadium . The present Valley must only occupy about a quarter of the original site.

The old ground had also been vacated by Charlton for several years before they went back to it after they gave up looking for a new location.

Good shout and if IIRC Molineux is not only completely transformed but the pitch switched 90 degrees n'arl.

What was Brighton. Ground before they moved to their new one

Not the goldstone they had another after that

Just found out Withdean

The Withdean Stadium, I went to that game, we lost 2-1.
I'd forgot that one. Saw us win 2-1 there a couple of days after losing to Millwall in the semi final at Old Trafford

I was at that one too. Was great team spirit to win that one just after losing the semi final.

Did anyone go to that stadium that Bradford had to use in the 80s? Odsall??
Was the strangest ground in the universe that place
Only ever saw us win a testimonial at AP, Another safc grave yard.
Musta gone 10 times, league Cup twice, AS cup, fa cup 75 and various league but best was 0-0 draw when Coisty played.
Then came testimonial early 90s and we won. Twas on a Sunday.

Was that the testimonial when there were loads of Sunland in the Holgate end, and fighting all over the ground ?

I only ever went for derbies in the 90s. Was just a kid really. But from the coach drop off to the ground itself was just horrific

Sorry for misleading you. I never saw a league match at Cathkin Park. There was a non-league / junior match played there the morning when I was taken to the 1976 Scottish Cup Final. There were weeds and grass all over the old terraces and the pitch looked like the Everglades. Being 8, though, I was still mesmerised by it, even though only a few dozen were there.
