I don't think the current Compton/Edrich stands were that old mind. Glad they're not building two blocks of flats on the Nursery.

What's the point of developing the nursery ground? Is it really that much arseache to play at Uxbridge when England and Middlesex have fixture collision once every two years or less? Presumably England would want to use it for grass nets anyway.

They have a lot of games there not county level, few a week. Makes money

Lord's should be 40000+. I know they have running battles with the locals but England's premier test ground should be big enough to let us all think we can get tickets for the top test matches.

Agreed but the locals have power

I live in St John's Wood a lot of them totally resent the ground. Don't buy a bloody house next to a cricket ground

Agreed though needs to be more availability to people, shouldn't be entering into a ballet

The grounds been there 200 f***ing years. Don’t think can complain really. It’s not like it was built after they moved in. Knackers

Apart from Headingley, which is a bit of an eyesore (why blue seats?) the ground redevelopments over the last 15 years have been class. The Oval to go to 40k too, soon?

Trent Bridge should be the one getting nervous about major test allocation imo - Old Trafford and Edgbaston hold 10k more and that's a lot of people locked out over five days.
