Just relax, enjoy it and take it all in. Its quite pompous but thats part of the experience.

I always call at Panzers to pick up a nice bit of bait and a few beers.

panzers.co.uk

Top call mate. My preffered choice is the Tesco Mini Market on Clifton Road (west down St Johns Wood Road, cross Maida Vale, walk past the Pub and its on your left). Finest selection of pre-packed sandwiches, cold pies/pasties and scotch eggs. Whats not to like?

Just sit back, relax and watch the cricket. You get a complete mix of people, from blazer wearing, chinless toffs, the your normal lads having a few pints and enjoying the game. They all mix together as they all have cricket as the common denominator.

Going to Lord's is a wonderful day out; you'll have a great time there. I've never been to see a Test there, but I loved it when I went. Mind, that was the One Day Cup Final in 2014; I think all Durham fans enjoyed it that day!

I'm off on Friday. Been before to watch Yorkshire but never for a Test match. Worried I'm going to be a fish out of water
You'll be fine mate, it's not as stuck up as you might imagine. Just a lot of knowledgeable cricket folk. It's how a test match should be.

What you wanna know?

Can bring in 4 cans or a bottle of wide, but the bars there are canny.
By the way, it's only two cans or a bottle of wine.

Aye got me lass to take in 2 for me last time I was there, good point.

I don't often bring booze in like to be honest.

Been there three times, First in 94 for the South Africa test when Atherton was caught putting dirt on the ball and then for Durham's two one-day finals.

Absolutely love the place, and I'd recommend the tour to anyone as well.

Been there too many times to remember, never felt out of place but I am geet posh as I am from SR6 (adopted). Use the kids to smuggle more alcohol than allowed and plenty of bars nearby (prepare to remortgage the house though). Enjoy it fella.

I took an Indian colleague of mine to a Middlesex V Essex T20 a couple of years ago, burst in tears when he took seat. Daft twat.

My favourite time...

It's absolutely brilliant. For those that think it's pretentious, it's just cricket but with some older folks in shirt and tie and no wankers in fancy dress making beer snakes

Take your own booze in. Have lunch on the nursery ground or behind the Warner stand. It gets bloody busy tho
This ^ it's class. I'd only been to the Oval prior to going to Lords and it's completely different (for the better). You can't move for wankers at the Oval.

Another Lord's question. Just in the middle of planning my summer 2018, which games I want to go to etc. Interested in the India Test and ODI at Lord's but it seems they do a ballot system rather than first come first served. Has anyone ever done this before? Was it easy? What are the chances of getting a ticket?
