Is EDS still doing well in Peterlee? Before I left AON were getting moved to Manilla, which would be a big blow for the team in St Bedes building.

St Bede's building will close in the next few weeks.
HP have fully refurbed Cutherberts and Aidens, with all staff moving into those two.
Doing "well" probably isn't what youd call it - most of the non-government work has gone overseas, but Prison Service & DWP still going strong.

Forgot they still rent Cuthberts even though it's been empty for years.

The number of people in employment aged 16 and over increased by 143,000 on the quarter and by 390,000 on the year to reach 29.23 million.
The quarterly increase in employment was driven by full-time employment which increased by 140,000 on the quarter to reach 21.30 million.
Is the correct answer, good of you to mention it.

Aye, they moved us out and into Aidens, to save millions in rent.
Then the stupid kernts forgot to send the letter to the landlord to excercise the "get out" clause in the contract - so got stuck with it for the next ~5 years![]()
That sounds like EDS all over!

Couldn't agree more, there was a time when the budget was so tight that they couldn't even buy paper, remember one person on Rolls Royce telling me they had to print daily reports but EDS never thought of that and still wouldn't budge on the budget.
