ok, he is worth lets say a billion and Sunderland are worth 200million, that is a fifth of his earnings and wealth tied up in Sunderland. I wouldn't want a fifth of my kitchen cupboards value tied up in Sunderland if i am been honest.

l.

Exactly the same, outstanding logic and critical thinking on show here.

A fifth, a whole f***ing fifth eh, when i had a blood transfusion im happy i didnt only get 4/5th of what I needed otherwise I would be dead so for that reason I support SAFC being relegated and starved of cash.

Short has appointed incompetents at executive and management level. He has ratified the most ludicrous player contracts in the club's history and has saddled us with more debt than we've had in history.

Chipping in with loose change from his billions isn't to be celebrated, it's a minimum expectation.

but in doing so has backed his managers rightly or wrongly

the arguement is you expect him to lose a fifth of his earnings/wealth and i suspect you wouldn't be as willing to do so.

If i was worth a billion pounds, yes I would. Because money isnt about what you dont have its about what you do. That is unless you are a greedy (unt.

The kids are f***ing shit mate, so playing them would be the equivalent of a points deduction. Do you honestly believe that there are 5 premier league ready, high quality footballers just dossing around on our bench being refused time to player out of principle. Our fans call Januzaj shite yet crave f***ing Elliot Embleton plays for us :lol: Ill say this again, being born near to/inside of/on top of/underneath the stadium of light and speaking with an accent similar to the fans has absolutely no correlation what so ever to footballing ability.

I assume you are drunk and not retarded :lol:

I don't think Sunderlands problem has been a lack of money, we need money now yes, but we have been champions of throwing it down the drain.

Backed his managers?! Di Canio got 6 months.

Di Canio/Di Fanit regardless of who brought the players in the money was spent and players were paid big bucks to bring them to the club.

So it is lack of money ? Thats only coming from two places. A new owner or Ellis Short. We are in a critical state, debt, relegation and administration do not give a shit if we spent 12m on Fletcher in 2012, those excuses wont wash, what we need is action immediately. What happened in the past is not justification to condemn us in the future

Not there yet, will log off and speed up.
My dumb optimism will kick in again tomorrow.

Its usually the 8 pint mark that I receive the classified information only for drunken twats that PVA is actually Roberto Carlos, we have a guardian angel and will stay up comfortably getting into europe on the fair play technicality

Spend is an irrelevance if you don't give the manager time. A major part of what we're seeing now is a culmination of his short term mentality. It's precisely because he hasn't backed the managers.

BTW, in 2015 he was the 7th richest chairman, only a few quid behind the Glazers of Man Utd.

We do need money but at the same time we cant keep spending good money after bad. They cant be a club in any of the football leagues that have spent money as badly as us in the las 6 years and have not dropped down a league.

look below and see what money we have wasted

I mean Steven Fletcher cost 12mil and lets say he heard 40k a week that 20mil quid he cost the club, before you factor in bonuses but he left the club for nothing, as did johnson, Grham, Gardener, Gomez etc

I agree on giving the manager time, however have you disagreed with any of the sackings? Fans say, "this is because we haven't give the manager time" but struggle when they are asked which manager should of been given more time.

I accept this, however we were starting nearly every season with 14 players max and had to sign 8-10 a summer. We were also restricted to the 30m max budget to do so. It just wasnt enough. Do you honestly believe that if our budget was 100m the managers/DOF would have gone out and signed the same players ? Altidore 6m same summer Bony 12m. Coates 3m same summer Van Dijk 12m etc. It was never enough and we always had to shop in the second tier. Still even accepting that the money was spent on necessary shit is no excuse to starve us and in-debt us now.

There's only Bruce I'd have gotten rid of so early. I wouldn't have appointed Poyet in the first place. The others should have had more time. I hope Moyes gets the time as his talent is building, not instant gratification.

And i agree, but is suspect we maybe in the minority

The thing that worries me most about Short isn't his shocking appointments of boardroom staff, distribution of funds for transfers or lack of engagement with fans - simply the fact that his response to failure on the pitch is more of the same decisions with no will to change at all. Bit like how the EU acts when it is currently imploding.
