Midfield
Travelling down to London for a conference at the Excel arena so looking for a hotel for 1 night.

Not arriving until 8ish at night into Euston - so want to stay around there so can have quick freshen up to get out and have some food and few beers.

So any hotel recommendations in this area and somewhere for food would be greatly received.

Going on expenses so does not have to be cheap and cheerful.

Cheers

The travelodge at Euston is really nice and some good bars close to it

Sure I've stayed in a holiday inn near there. Canny place to stay.

They are nearly all shit below £200 a night, so you may as well get travelodge or premier, then at least you know what shit you're getting

Just stay in Canary Wharf, you'll get a decent deal, loads of places to eat, and you're bang on the DLR for the Excel the next day.
