Cleared out loads of stuff when we moved house (our "loft" was the back bedroom on the top floor) and downsized a hell of a lot. Moved into the new build and got the loft boarded out. Just got Xmas decs, suitcases and a few boxes of books up there nowOur loft is absolutly packed with rubbish we are never going to use again. My lass puts everything up there. I think the ceilings are going to fall in one day.
Whats in your loft?
What's the difference? Is it a loft or an attic?
Loft is a section of a roof space. What's the difference?
Is that a thing? I’ve got a giant tub containing a ton of Star Wars and other kits all mixed up. Way too much trouble to separate or build them again.Box of Lego airport shuttle parts , hoyed them on eBay and got £525 .
Hope you've got a healthy bank balance if you want to hire two skips.Loads of shite our lass puts up there. Same as the garage. We need to hire a skip. We might even need two skips.
That happened a few years back to a bloke who collected comics, or porn or something similar. One day the rafters gave way and the whole lot came down. Our loft is absolutly packed with rubbish we are never going to use again. My lass puts everything up there. Not even a flitch beam ? Shame on you.Not a thing other than insulation.
The garage rafters are full of stuff though.
I haven't mate. That's why it's been put off for so long.Hope you've got a healthy bank balance if you want to hire two skips.

There’ll be a dead starling in there. Nailed on.
A few trips to the council tip is the way then. Skips are stupidly priced these days, which likely accounts for the rise in fly tipping.I haven't mate. That's why it's been put off for so long.
Aye. Would be looking at atleast 10 trips and probably 2 council collections for bigger items (the council charging for these doesn't help fly tipping either).A few trips to the council tip is the way then. Skips are stupidly priced these days, which likely accounts for the rise in fly tipping.
I don’t have a loft or garage, so one bedroom has been designated the junk room. Mostly camping gear and stuff I’ll never use again. I’ve got a load of childhood stuff in my parents loft though
