Lofts

My home office. But for storage I made three large cupboards in the eaves. One has all the Christmas trees and decorations, another has all the babies stuff that she’s not using, so things like the side to convert the cot into a bed. The biggest one has the bulky stuff like suitcases.

Got rid of 3 car loads of junk when I had to empty it to convert it so planned what storage was needed and what was going to go where.

Our loft is absolutly packed with rubbish we are never going to use again. My lass puts everything up there. I think the ceilings are going to fall in one day.

Whats in your loft?
Cleared out loads of stuff when we moved house (our "loft" was the back bedroom on the top floor) and downsized a hell of a lot. Moved into the new build and got the loft boarded out. Just got Xmas decs, suitcases and a few boxes of books up there now

I don’t have a loft or garage, so one bedroom has been designated the junk room. Mostly camping gear and stuff I’ll never use again. I’ve got a load of childhood stuff in my parents loft though
Box of Lego airport shuttle parts , hoyed them on eBay and got £525 .
Is that a thing? I’ve got a giant tub containing a ton of Star Wars and other kits all mixed up. Way too much trouble to separate or build them again.

Loads of shite our lass puts up there. Same as the garage. We need to hire a skip. We might even need two skips.
Hope you've got a healthy bank balance if you want to hire two skips.

That happened a few years back to a bloke who collected comics, or porn or something similar. One day the rafters gave way and the whole lot came down.

I haven't mate. That's why it's been put off for so long.

A few trips to the council tip is the way then. Skips are stupidly priced these days, which likely accounts for the rise in fly tipping.
Aye. Would be looking at atleast 10 trips and probably 2 council collections for bigger items (the council charging for these doesn't help fly tipping either).

There’s obviously a demand for Lego sets , but some of the questions I needed to clarify were beyond being anal imho.

Adults and Lego , doesn’t sit right with me tbh.

The first thing I did, before we even moved in was make the hatch bigger so we could get bigger shit in. It's like a black hole, once something passes the event horizon it doesn't come back out.
