Loans

I think this is an area this season and last that we have been really poor at. Most weeks the best player that the opposition have is someone on loan. Maybe it's a bit short term but when a lot of the contracts handed out aren't for much longer and the players unlikely to be able to do a job in the championship it seems a bit strange we haven't put more effort into the loan market.

Location may be a hindrance if the parent club are wanting them to spend some time training with them but our facilities must be a plus point.

Can't understand the point of bringing in players who are just as shit or in some cases shitter than what we already have. Surely to christ there are some promising youngsters or fringe players from the leagues above that need game time that are better than the dross we have clogging our first team.

A bit of pace out wide wouldn’t go a miss

Tony's "speed dating" man

Everyone at that club has a great supply of soundbites and one liners but that's all they are...."Productivity over results" says the Academy chief when the teams under his charge have won one game between them and the academy has never been less productive.

Definitely, the attitude on here is 'why not play our younguns instead', there is a reason our talents are on loan at the likes of Harrogate or getting humped every week in the 23s. Charlton used it very well last year for example as did Portsmouth until Jan when coincidentally there form dropped off. It's an area we should definitely be targeting as its obvious the plan is get out of this league and build a full new squad as none of these fuckers are going to step up with maybe 1 or 2 exception.
