Tuesday was criminal but I'm going back to the Portsmouth game when we began to ship goals. then Charlton , Rotherham and finally Sheff Wed.....Johnson stated in his press interviews "We have to learn from the mistakes" that was against Portsmouth. Then Charlton & Rotherham. He never came out with it after Sheffield but the question needs to be put to him "What did you learn Lee"? Fcek all is the only answer i can come up with.
Bottom line is he hasn’t got a clue what is happening and simply doesn’t know how to fix it. He can only talk about addressing the problems. He genuinely looked utterly lost post Sheff Wed defeat, thought he was going to cry

I almost always agree with his perspective on games. Don’t always agree with his team selection, for example I wouldn’t have had AOB the other night and I’d never play Wright but I would have played 3 in midfield the other night albeit a slightly practice of it. The defence does look disorganised as he said - the challenge is to see him now get things organised again.

The only manager we had who in my opinion always provided full value entertainment at his press conference was Keano but there's no getting away from it that its the football match that's supposed to be the most important feature.

These days the press conference is just part of the game build up made possible because the technology is there to record and broadcast it. In years gone by there was no such thing. I think that it amounted to Argus (the Echo's ace football reporter) having a pint with Alan Brown a couple of days before the game.

I doubt very much whether Johnson could ever present himself in such a way or say anything in his press conference that would please all of the fans because people have such different expectations and standards. It is really not that important just a bit pre-match build up aimed at getting a few more bums on seats. What really counts is the game itself and the result.

Watched his presser again... He stated 2 bad results in the past week...No lee, its four bad results , could have been 5 (QPR) in the past month.

Reassuring and speaks well. It sounds like the areas we need to improve have been identified and we will have to see tomorrow if there's an improvement.

Some nice words about the fans too.

that is the problem he speaks well, he even means well… but he does not manage well. Improvement? I would say we are even worse.

He went strong today and wanted to win , yet we get beat . He has now been speaking about full rebuild of club etc , bloke is not the gaffer for safc but i do feel could have a part to play maybe head of academy to prepare and bring through the youth ...
