Liverpool v man city

As good as you'll see this season yet he'll still be accused as being as 5 yard ball merchant.
They may appreciate him one day, probably when he's retired after lifting the Premier League and Champions League trophies.

To be fair this is incorrect. He was ace as a right sided number 8 the Gerrard 'slip' season.

Then he was really average as a number 6 after. That's why Liverpool fans wanted him out the team.

Then Fabinho came in as a 6 and he was ace again as an 8. Now he's appreciated again.

A player with no left foot can't play in the middle of the park.

Yes that's Henderson, not good enough to be a Liverpool player.

Klopp knows he is but for some of the fans he doesn't fit the bill of their claim that the current LFC side is the greatest team ever in football ( posted by more than one on the Bbc Sport website tonight )

my heart bleeds for you, it really does. remember who's forum you are posting on with this self-pitying nonsense

Sunderland are not the only club that struggles marra - granted our troubles are not as bad as you lads but doesnt mean we have it rosy.

Even in general terms - in 5 years we've had 4 players suffer leg/ankle breaks when most clubs dont even get 1.

Us and WHU the only 2 teams to get done for retrospective diving (Niasse, Lanzini) despite their being tons of instances every week in the league

Conceeding a VAR pen to Brighton which the officials have ruled as wrongly given and not getting a penalty by VAR in the Spurs game which again the officials have said should have been given.

Pickfords last minute howler at Anfield last season.

We literally have sod all luck - compare that to our neighbours who have opposition goalies chucking the ball into their own nets for them its night and day.

Milner has run his socks off all his career. Never been a lard arse.
At the end of the day, teams do make a lot of their own 'luck'. You dont hit a 30 yard wonder strike unless you try. You dont force errors unless you pressurise, you dont score last minute winners unless you're still attacking in the last minute.

United were famed for fergie time, but opposition teams used to panic which lead to so many goals. Liverpool had a nervy edge to them once City scored. This is what happens when teams have belief (and doubt). Liverpool have more belief right now, and they used it well.

I though city had 4/5 great chances plus hit the post. Liverpool got a large slice of luck with the first handball claim, would have taken a strong ref to bring back play after Liverpool scoring to give city a pen (despite it being warranted)
I though Liverpool were quite poor defensively yesterday
